Massage Department helps athletes prepare for European tournament

Our Massage and Complementary Therapies students applied their skills at the Worcester International Hockey Centre in March.

Guided by Jim Wallis, Teacher in Charge, they delivered pre-, mid-, and post-event massage therapy to Welsh Hockey's Over 60s and Over 65s teams, who were preparing for their European tournaments with a training session and match.

This gave our students invaluable practical experience, while simultaneously ensuring the athletes were match-ready. The players and management team were really grateful for the students' support.
