100 miles for 150 years - they did it!
Huge congratulations to Andrew Davis and Sheila and Bill Tallon who took on the iconic RideLondon 100 mile challenge on Sunday 29 May.
Whilst waiting to start at The Embankment, Sheila was interviewed live on the radio by Justyn Surrall on BBC Hereford & Worcester. You can listen to what she had to say
here
.
Andrew, Bill and Sheila are pictured below with their bikes at the start line wearing RNC t-shirts.
Riding through many London landmarks, including riding down the traffic free Mall which was dressed with Union flags ready to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, the trio smashed the challenge.
Bill and Sheila crossed the finish line at Tower Bridge in 8 hours and Andrew completed the challenge in an impressive 5 hours 24 minutes, whilst struggling with a horrible cold.
Andrew is pictured below proudly displaying his challenge medal as he walks away from the finish line with his bike:

We are incredibly grateful to Andrew, Bill and Sheila for taking on this mammoth challenge in support of RNC. It's not too late to donate, so if you can spare a pound or two, please visit their JustGiving page
here
(it closes on 26 June 2022).
