Brandon from Waterlooville, Hampshire, lost his sight at the age of 17 due to a genetic condition (Leber's Optic Neuropathy). He got involved in Blind Football whilst studying at RNC - his confidence grew and his talent shone through.
In December 2022, Brandon said:
'RNC is an amazing College which helped me get through my sight loss. There is nothing better than sport or fitness to help with barriers or challenges in your life. The RNC Sports Academy was unreal and gave me the opportunity to play football again and now I'm playing for England.' Brandon is now part of the England Blind Football squad, receiving his first cap as an RNC student in May 2016 against France. To date (November 2022) Brandon has 60 England caps and has scored 26 goals during that time.
