If you live in Scotland it is particularly important that you speak to your local adviser at a very early stage.

Scottish local authorities are expected to provide for all special educational needs and although the Scottish Government does recognise that students with additional support needs may choose to attend a college such as RNC, all decisions about funding are left to the individual authority.

The Government’s advice is therefore that you ask your home authority for details of local funding arrangements for specialist provision.
