I’m delighted with my results, I would wholeheartedly recommend RNC to other students with visual impairment, all of the support and equipment you need is in place. I’ve had some brilliant experiences, too many to mention but, some stand out moments are gaining my Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and working on my EPQ which was amazing. I’ve now got all the tools I need to look for a teaching assistant role in a primary school.

At the end of four years of study at RNC, Nicole went on to say:

I’ve had such an incredible time and experience at RNC which I will never forget. When I very first started studying at the College I thought I would struggle with living away from home for a long amount of time but, with the support of staff and the support from my friends, I settled in well to College life and I’ve enjoyed every minute of living away from home. I can’t thank the staff at the College enough for all of the support they have given me during my time here. I’ve achieved and learnt so much.

I honestly don’t think I would have had the confidence to travel to places by myself if it wasn’t for the Mobility team at College supporting and encouraging me. I’ve made a lot of memories over the past four years which I will always treasure. I’ve been part of the Student Ambassador team for three years. I’ve not only enjoyed the education side of College but the social side as well. I will miss the nights at the bar, meals out and social events in general with friends and the social aspect of College life altogether.

I have had some amazing times and met some truly amazing people at RNC.
